Alien Manhwa Recommendations: Tales Beyond Earth
Aliens. Mysterious beings that humanity can’t help but delve into. The proof? The endless conspiracy theories rising on the internet. So yeah, with such attention on the topic, it’s not surprising it has spilled into the realm of manhwa.
Anyway, whether you think of them as slimy Cthulhus, big-head freaks, cuties, or robots, this list has it all. Like the adage says, “To each, his own”. Jokes aside, I hope you enjoy my alien webtoon collection. Alright, let’s dig in.
My Top 10 Alien Webtoons to Binge Read
- Uglyhood
- Evolution: Road to Space Monster
- Lovers of the Galaxy
- Rendezvous
- Duty After School
- Planet Nya Nya Nya~
- Kangtawoo
- Android Have no Blood
- Illusion Hunter from Another World
- Alien Idol

1. Uglyhood
Elsa has no plans of letting go. After all, the aliens and their so-called assimilation has led to the death of his beloved mother. But how can one girl break the illusion the aliens have put into the thoughts of humanity?
Well, simple. If the aliens want to become a sort of angel, she will become their favorite antagonist. Armed with an extraordinary parasitic alien, she plans to change the status quo and break the veil of deceit.
My Review: Uglyhood might not have the best art, but its concept is quite intriguing. Rather than treating it as a full-blown story, I’d rather treat it as a gag-themed alien webtoon. It reminds of the earliest version of One-Punch Man.
Enjoyment-wise, I’ll give it a 7/10. It’s not bad, but its pacing and narrative feel confusing, especially in the early arcs.

2. Evolution: Road to Space Monster
Life takes a nasty turn for a certain gamer when he suddenly finds himself isekaid into a sci-fi world. The problem? Nothing much. He just becomes a clingy, flesh-eating face-hugger.
With the difficulty raised to hardcore, he had no choice but to abandon morality. To live in this alien-loathing galaxy, he must scheme, kill, devour, and evolve.
My Review: Evolution: Road to Space Monster is a striking alien manhwa worth an 8/10. This goodie reminds me of those gritty Western comics. It’s raw, intense, and brutal.
If you enjoy gory dark fantasy webcomics, then you’re going to love this tale. Just a heads-up, this cookie gets real bloody fast.

3. Lovers of the Galaxy
Wooju has a secret. A big secret. She met a living alien in the mountains six years ago. The problem? Well, she’s worried people will think she has gone cuckoo if she tells it to her classmates.
But one fateful day, Wooju joins an odd club that thinks aliens are interesting. Now, she is free to share her love of all things alien. The twist? The club seems to have a secret of its own. Yes, folks, there’s an alien among them.
My Review: I’ll rate Lovers of the Galaxy a solid 8/10. Rather than delving into sci-fi, this alien webtoon spices things up with mystery. It also has crisp shoujo art panels, interesting character dynamics, and a straightforward school-theme.
My only gripe about this goodie is its pacing and clichéd plot. It’s not bad, but it just takes a long time for something to happen. Still, if you like slow-burn romance webcomics, this is for you.

4. Rendezvous
Yiyeon Kang is one tragedy after another. His luck is so bad his bullies have beaten him until he is a comatose patient. But that’s not the end yet. Though he didn’t die, he wakes up and finds himself in a ruined hospital.
The problem? The world as he knows it is gone. Worse, aliens are currently subjugating Earth, and it needs every fighter it can get. Yes, even someone like him.
My Review: Rendezvous is a gripping post-apocalyptic alien manhwa worth an 8/10. It boasts glorious art, gritty character progression, and badass fight scenes. If you’re tired of trope-filled stories, then don’t miss this breath of fresh air.

5. Duty After School
Life takes a sudden turn for a bunch of ordinary high schoolers when a sudden alien invasion arrives. So what happened? Well, the army has conscripted them to fight blob-like alien beasts.
Left with no choice, these teenagers must face the brutality of a war for survival. The question? How many will remain until the end?
My Review: Duty After School is a must-read alien webtoon deserving of a 9/10. This cookie stands out with its intense character arcs, emotional storyline, and simple but evocative art.
Despite its simplicity, this tale offers thrilling twists and turns. It’s brooding, high-stakes, and a hardcore page-turner. If you enjoy psychological thrillers or dark fantasy webcomics, then you’re in for a treat.

6. Planet Nya Nya Nya
Dayeon’s life is pure boring routine until she rescues a random pretty boy from an angry puppy. The twist? He turns out to be an actual alien cat prince. Dead serious.
As a thank-you for saving him, the prince ships his ultra-proper cat butler straight to her apartment. Thus, begins a hilarious tale between a cat lover and her new kitty kitchen support.
My Review: Planet Nya Nya Nya gets a fat 9/10 from me. In a sea of heavy romance and angst webtoons, this alien manhwa is one wholesome crack. It’s simple, lightweight, and super refreshing.
The best of it all? It has a homey vibe, gorgeous clean art, and hilarious jokes that had me gagging like mad. Read it. I swear you’re going to know what I mean.

7. Kangtawoo
Hyeon Kang is your classic antsy high-schooler who acts like he hates everyone, but would actually throw himself under a bus for a stranger. The proof? He did just that, saving a classmate from a tragedy.
The hook? Instead of dying, he stumbles onto a sleeping alien and her giant mecha. And we all know the drill, right? Time to send the invading intergalactic empire back where they came from.
My Review: Straight 9/10 and an instant must-read. Kangtawoo is peak alien manhwa goodness. It boasts jaw-dropping fights, striking art, and sarcastic characters you can’t help but love.
As a fan of the Gundam Series and Voltes V, this adrenaline-fueled tale just hits me hard with nostalgia. Overall, this underrated gem deserves a must-read stamp. Don’t miss it.

8. Android Have No Blood
Imagine a top-tier android, all logic and no feelings, suddenly gets thrown into a savage murim world full of flying swords and backstabbing sects. Yes, folks, it’s an instant recipe for comedy disaster.
Worse, the locals have crowned our confused robot “Grandmaster Ro Bok.” But who can blame them? This funny android is polite, states facts, and doesn’t enjoy murdering people on sight despite his crazy strength. The truth? Well, the android is just trying to patch its spaceship and get the hell out.
My Review: Easy 8/10. This alien webtoon is pure joy if you love reading about a hyper-rational machine wrecking the power balance of an entire wuxia world. The best of it all? Its jokes land every chapter.
Though its art isn’t that fancy, it stands out with its goofy tone, lovable characters, and snappy pacing. If you need a break from all the dark stories and want non-stop laughs, read Android Have No Blood. You can thank me later.

9. Illusion Hunter from Another World
Gim Giryeo has few secrets. He is an overworked alien from a magical planet outside the solar system. And somehow, after trying to run from his demanding job, he suddenly takes over an earthling’s body.
The punchline? Well, things are getting dicey fast. After all, he keeps stumbling into accidents. And for some reason, S-rank hunters and the Hunter Associations are monitoring him. Can our protagonist keep his secret until the end?
My Review: I’ll rate Illusion Hunter from Another World an 8/10. This alien manhwa is a hilarious blend of comedy and hunter tropes. It has solid art, a witty cast, and a straightforward plot arc.
Still, it suffers from genericness. How do I say this? It feels like I’ve read already from an internet reading hole. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t stand out much.

10. Alien Idol
Rie has lost it all. Her planet, her family, and even her dearest friend. Along with a few grieving survivors, she escapes onto a mysterious blue planet called Earth.
With no way home, she and her friends must learn to adapt fast. How? Well, by creating an idol group composed of alien survivors. I mean, what can go wrong with that, right?
My Review: I’ll rate this alien manhwa a solid 8/10. Despite its lackluster art, Alien Idol stands out with its intriguing 90s manga vibes, sharp character arcs, and gritty plot. Reading it hits you with nostalgia so much you’ll keep flipping the pages.
Final Thoughts About Alien Manhwa
And that’s another sweet wrap. Reading through niche has been relatively quick, unlike most of my list. Nonetheless, it has an unexpected retro charm that makes you binge-read.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this recommendation. I’ll continue updating this alien webtoon recs from time to time. Alright, that’s all for now. See you in my next work, folks.
