1. The World After The Fall
Kim Jaehwan’s stuck in a nightmare—the Tower of Trials, a brutal gauntlet that’s already crushed humanity. Everyone’s given up, but not this guy. Even alone, he thrusts his way to the top, only to find the world outside’s a shattered husk.
Now he’s stabbing upwards again. But this time, against gods and fate itself. His goal? Gain everything the tower has taken from him. Trust me. This dude’s got no chill.
My Rating: The World After The Fall deserves a solid 10/10 and deserves a rank among the best manhwa out there. This dark fantasy webtoon boasts gritty and gorgeous art. Plus, its MC, Jaehwan, is a badass.
Call it funny, but he loves thrusting so much you can’t help yourself but root for him.
As for its weakness, its plot can be a little head-scratcher at times. Fortunately, its sheer “screw the system” energy keeps it fire.

2. Return To Player
Kim Sehan’s living a normal life until gods turn Earth into their personal RPG. Worse, they have no plans of saving anyone. His ending? A cruel and lonely death.
Fate, however, has more plans for him, and he returns to the start of it all. Armed with a grudge like no other, he once again grinds to reach the top. His end goal? Hunt the divine jerks who screwed him and those whom he loved.
My Rating: I’ll give Return To Player a solid 9/10 and a must-read stamp. This dark fantasy manhwa stuns readers with its slick art, killer pacing, and an MC who’d rather win dirty than lose clean.
Plus, the stakes are insane, and the twists hit like a truck. Quality-wise, it’s one of the best leveling system stories out there. It’s also a must-read for all dark fantasy fiends.

3. SSS-Class Revival Hunter
Kim Gongja’s a nobody in a tower full of elite hunters. Well, until he gets a skill that lets him rewind time when he dies. Problem? He’s gotta keep dying to level up, and the deaths get uglier every time.
Worse, the tower he must dreamed of climbing isn’t as glorious as he thought. Rather, it’s a messed-up playground of betrayal, evil, lies, and blood.
My Rating: No words needed. 10/10. SSS-Class Revival Hunter stands tall with its top-tier art, Gongja the Legend, and its twisty plot so good that I binge-read it all in one sitting. No filler—just pure, twisted brilliance.
This dark fantasy webtoon is also gripping, funny, and way too addicting. If you enjoy time-loops and solid character development, then this is for you.

4. Pick Me Up!
Loki is a pro mobile gamer with no peer. His gaming skillset is downright mad, and he just keeps breaking record after record in the infamous hardcore game Pick Me Up!
But destiny has better plans for this god-tier player. Out of nowhere, he suddenly finds himself yanked into the very game he loves. The problem? He has transmigrated as a one-star cannon fodder.
My Rating: I’ll give Pick Me Up! a solid 9/10. This dark fantasy manhwa boasts gripping world-building, epic character arcs, and a fresh plot concept.
It also has intriguing twists and tight pacing so well-crafted you’ll find yourself binge-reading it all. I recommend this to gamers and LitRPG fans.

5. Doom Breaker
Zephyr isn’t your ordinary warrior. No, he’s a one-in-a-millennium hero who rises from slavery to face Tartarus, the gods of destruction himself. His ending? A respectable death after dueling the world-ender god.
The punchline? Well, it seems like the celestials have acknowledged his futile efforts. Now, they plan to give him a redo and a rematch. But is one regression enough to change the fate of a world destined for doom?
My Rating: Doom Breaker is one of the sleepers that deserves more attention from the fandom. This dark fantasy webtoon stands tall with its epic world-building, badass MC, and hard-hitting plot.
It also has a solid Tolkien vibe I can’t get enough of. If you enjoy regression webcomics with a tinge of revenge and heroism, then don’t miss this 10/10 masterpiece.

6. A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special
Desir Arman and his team are humanity’s last hope against the world-ending labyrinths. Too bad, even with all their efforts, they still failed, rendering all humans extinct.
So what happens when he suddenly returns 13 years into the past? Simple. Grind, power-up, and harness the skills to solve all the tumors before all hell breaks loose.
My Rating: A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special offers striking art panels, immersive world-building, and characters that just grow on you. It also has a butter-smooth pacing and high-stakes plot—perfect for binge-reading.
If you’re looking for a clever protagonist that’s more of a strategist, then this might be for you. Overall, I’ll give this dark fantasy manhwa my 9/10.

7. Leviathan
After the apocalyptic comet struck Earth, the world has never been the same. There are no more lands in sight, even the skyscrapers are now wallowing in the ocean depths.
As for the survivors, they’re now living as sea nomads. But that’s no real problem. After all, the seas now teem with mutant sea beasts, and oh boy, do they enjoy eating humans.

Jeong-Hyeok Lee isn’t someone special. He is just another nobody working in a normal office job in South Korea. So imagine his surprise when he suddenly finds himself inside a mysterious facility called LAG.
LAG, however, isn’t paradise. No, it’s a brutal land where one must fight monsters, humans, and even aliens to survive. The rule of the place? Survival of the fittest.
My Rating: L. A. G. isn’t for the faint of heart. This dark fantasy manhwa takes it to the extreme. It’s not just bloody, it’s a total mayhem of gore and slaughter. Overall, this gory tale deserves an 8/10.
It has a solid western-style art, action-packed plot, and intense pacing. If you’re looking for a survival horror with a psychological twist, then don’t miss this brutal cookie.

9. Tower of God
Baam’s only friend is missing. Worse, it seems like she has accidentally entered the infamous Tower—a land of tests, monsters, and backstabbers. The higher one goes, the darker it gets.
Determined to rescue his friend, Baam treks the path of no return. Even if it means entering the abyss, he shall do it for his friend. Little does he know that such a path will lead him to the deepest secrets of his past.
My Rating: Tower of God has one of the finest world-building in the manhwa world. It’s also one of the longest-running stories, and I’ve been reading it for more than a decade now. Quality-wise, it deserves a 9/10.
What makes it stand out is its iconic world-building, slow-burn but well-executed character arcs, and intriguing lore. If you like high-stakes adventure webcomics, then this won’t disappoint.

10. Distant Sky
Kang Hanuel takes a nap and wakes up to Seoul in ruins. Worse, the sun is gone, and flesh-eating bugs creep endlessly in the shadows. What happened? No one really knows.
Dead-set on surviving, he hooks up with Shin Heyool, a snarky survivor who’s all bite. Together, they’re hoping to scavenge through the wreckage and learn the reason for the sudden apocalypse.
My Rating: Distant Sky is a 9/10 hidden gem. This dark fantasy manhwa has a gripping plot, relatable characters, and immersive world-building. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy mystery and horror.
But what makes it stand out is its nerve-shredding art style. It gives off a dreadful vibe, pulling readers deeper into the story and the characters.

11. Jungle Juice
Suchan Jung’s college life is in peril. The reason? He now has strange-looking bug wings, and he can’t party with that stuck on his back.
Worse, it seems like a mysterious murderer is out there hunting people like him. Why? Cannibalism. After all, in the world of insects—it’s a freaky, bloody free-for-all.
My Rating: Jungle Juice is an underrated dark fantasy webtoon worth a 9/10. It has a stunning art style, nutty premise, and gritty storyline. It’s also loaded with kickass fight scenes that’ll leave you asking for more.
It’s a delightful change of pace in a world loaded with clichés. Read it. I swear it’s going to hook you in no time.

My Rating: Sweet Home is a must-read emotional roller coaster deserving of a 9/10. This dark fantasy manhwa grips readers with its gritty plotline, psychological twists, and haunting art.
If you’re looking for a horror webcomic, then don’t miss this thrilling tale. It’s a must-read for horror fans who enjoy tragedy, despair, but also hope amidst it all.

13. FFF-Class Trashero
Hansoo Kang’s spent ten years slugging it out in Fantasia, finally crushing the Demon Lord. He’s ready to return to Earth. The twist? The gods hate him. After all, he has kicked the ass of all his useless teammates.
His reward? A redo that turns him into a full-blown psycho. Hansoo’s not playing hero anymore. This time, he tears through Fantasia with zero regrets. The gods wanted a reset? They’re getting a bloodbath instead.
My Rating: FFF-Class Trashero snags an 8/10 from me. This dark fantasy manhwa boasts well-done art, a dark-humored plot, and a jackass MC. It’s also unpredictable and unapologetic, making the story stand out among beta MCs.
If you like regression webtoons with an evil MC who’d rather burn it all down than hang out longer, this is your jam. Fair warning: it’s bloody, brutal, and edgy.

14. Parallel City
As two dimensions collide, Earth’s flipped—humans are prey, doppelgangers rule. The proof? Well, Min Choi, a young athletic teenager, is on the run from his own face.
Worse, a mysterious virus is wreaking havoc. Not a flu or Covid, but one that turns normal duds into rabid flesh-eating zombies. What’s really happening? Well, Min Choi must first survive to know.
My Rating: Parallel City is as creepy as hell. This dark fantasy manhwa blends sci-fi, mystery, action, and zombie so well it kept me reading from start to finish. Overall, I’ll give this underrated webcomic my 9/10.
The best of it all? It boasts a moody art style, a tight and tension-filled plot, and intriguing world-building. The best of it all? It has one nasty twist.

15. Hero Has Returned
Minsu Kim’s been through hell—fighting tooth and nail in another world, risking it all to play savior. But reality’s a cold slap: he gets back to Earth and finds zilch waiting for him—no family, no friends, just a big fat void.
Sanity’s the next casualty, and he snaps, hard. He’s a one-man apocalypse now, carving through anyone who breathes—old folks, kids, whole damn families, all with a blank stare and bloody hands.
My Rating: Hero Has Returned is a dark, twisted dark fantasy webtoon worth an 8/10. It stands out with its nonstop action, tropes done right, and a tragic fallen hero on the loose.
Still, it stumbles with the cast. Minsu’s a psycho villain you can’t look away from, but the MC’s a bland nobody by comparison—generic as hell. Still worth a binge if you’re into blood and chaos.
