Maybe Meant to Be by Webtoon

1. Maybe Meant to Be

Jia Han is worn out by her parents’ ceaseless nagging to get married. But at 32, still lingering at home without a partner, their complaints aren’t entirely baseless.

Still, Cupid has a plan, and she meets her childhood friend Mincheol Jin. And to be honest, he has the same problem. The twist? Finding their situation funny, she offers him marriage. Thus, begins the swiftest shotgun marriage ever.

My Rating: Maybe Meant to Be is perhaps the best tsundere webtoon I’ve ever read. It grips you with its hilarious cast, gorgeous art, and comedic power couple. It had me giggling so badly I had to read alone lest people think I’m crazy.

But that’s not all. The character arcs are well-put, and I enjoyed watching their growth as individuals. Enjoyment-wise, this romcom cookie deserves nothing but a 10/10. Yes, it’s a must-read masterpiece.

The Villainess’s Days Are Numbered by Tapas

2. The Villainess’s Days Are Numbered

Everyone knows that Clea Rino is the world’s worst novel villainess. So imagine a reader’s surprise when she suddenly takes over as Clea. Worse, it seems like she made a deal with a demon king before she passed away.

To return to her own world, she must do the impossible. Marry the villainess’ number one crush, Isaac Detroi. The problem? Well, she suffers from a curse, and her days are literally numbered.

My Rating: I’ll rate The Villainess’s Days Are Numbered a 7/10. Story-wise, it offers that familiar villainess trope you can’t just get enough of. It also has solid art, interesting characters, and a unique twist.

The problem? It offers nothing new in the mix. I also found the character arcs lackluster. It’s not bad, but it gives off a generic feel.

Miss Not-So Sidekick by TappyToon

3. Miss Not-So Sidekick

Hyejung is just another dead-tired corporate rat. Her escape? Reading her beloved romance novels through the sleepless nights. But one day, while anxiously awaiting the next chapter, she dies from overwork.

The hook? Well, instead of the underworld, she transmigrates into the body of Latte Eclair. Who’s that? A minor villain in her beloved otome novel. But instead of following the script, she plans to watch her favorite characters and become a gooner girl.

My Rating: One world. Underrated. Miss Not-So Sidekick is one hilarious tsundere webtoon no one must miss. It sidesteps tired Mary Sue clichés, twisting tropes into hilarious meme-worthy scenes.

What’s more? It has a fairy tale inspired art, witty characters, and a humor-like-no-other. Enjoyment-wise, I’ll give this manhwa gem a 9/10.

Ending Maker by Tapas

4. Ending Maker

Kang Jin-ho and Hong Yoo-hee have spent years locked in a fiery rivalry in Legend of Heroes 2. Jin-ho forever holding the top spot while Yoo-hee trails in second. They’re so much in each other’s throats people call them a couple, much to their chagrin.

The punchline? Fate flips the script, and they suddenly transmigrate into the game. But that’s not the biggest problem. It’s the fact that in this world, they have no choice but to marry each other. Quite the game-changer, isn’t it?

My Rating: Ending Maker earns a stellar 9/10 and a must-read stamp. What makes it stand out is the main couple’s dynamic chemistry. How do I say this? They’re a match made for each other.

Plus, it has a top-tier art style, multi-layered plot, and crunchy world-building. I like it so much I’ve even read its light novel for a change, and oh boy it’s indeed a gem.

I’ll Save This Damned Family by Manta

    5. I’ll Save This Damned Family

Yeonwoo is just another hard-working writer in Seoul. Unfortunately, fate is full of surprises, and he reincarnates into her colleague’s novel. No, not as the villainess or the protagonist, but as Tara Elias, a mere mob from some noble family.

Worse, it seems like her newfound family is also all destined for the gallows. Dead-set on saving her household, she sets out to confront the cause of it all—the scheming Prince Kyle.

My Rating: I’ll Save This Damned Family deserves a 9/10 and a stamp of recommendation. This tsundere webtoon has well-crafted art panels, a charming cast, and an unexpectedly tight plot. And unlike its peers, this cookie doubles down on being realistic.

There is no sudden I-have-fallen-in-love-because-he-is-a-prince episode. Instead, the main couple’s growth feels natural and fun to watch. If you’re tired of dramatic Mary Sue stories, then don’t miss this.

I Only Want to Beat You by Naver Webtoon

      6. I Only Want to Beat You

Lee Gi-Go isn’t your ordinary lad. He has one unyielding creed in life—to never lose. So yeah, in all he does, he pushes himself to excel and become number one.

Well, that’s until he encounters Oh Roh-Ji. After all, this lass can’t help herself but beat him for fun. But can this hilarious rivalry turn into something more?

My Rating: I Only Want to Beat You scores a gripping 9/10. This tsundere manhwa boasts top-tier art, wholesome character interactions, and a super cute plot.

The best of it all? The main couple’s adorably dorky chemistry steals the show. It’s so sweet I almost suffered from fictional diabetes. Yeah, it’s just that good, so don’t miss this masterpiece.

Your Smile Is A Trap by Webtoon

        7. Your Smile Is a Trap

Not everyone thrives in the spotlight, and ex-idol Kiyu is one hard proof. Behind his dazzling talent, handsome looks, and captivating smile, Kiyu craves a simple high school life.

Fortunately, fate guides kind and charming souls. After transferring to a school where no one knows him, he stumbles upon Cha Baek. And unlike him, this girl is a bold, antisocial girl who soon becomes his gateway to a normal life.

My Rating: Your Smile Is a Trap secures a delightful 8/10. This tsundere webtoon is pure, sweet, and light-hearted. To be honest, it’s a refreshing escape from the gritty webtoons I’ve been reading lately.

It also has a smooth art style and an intriguing cast. And while the plot treads a trope-filled ground, its seamless pacing and smart use of tropes make it an addicting read. If you like idol-themed webcomics, then this is for you.

The Girl and the Geek by TappyToon

          8. The Girl and the Geek

Go Nanhee feels like she is a lost cause. She is unemployed, single, and penniless. No wonder she suffers from parents’ constant nagging. Her solution? Take on a high-paying cleaning gig.

There, she meets Oh Deokhoo, the geekiest guy imaginable. The hook? Well, disaster strikes when she mistakenly sends his cherished luxury action figure to the trash. Of course, she has to pay for it, right?

My Rating: The Girl and the Geek is a side-splitting tsundere manhwa worthy of a 10/10. I’ve read hundreds of romance webcomic, but this hilarious cookie is just on another level. It has top-tier art, buttery pacing, and an unexpectedly well-written storyline.

Add a vibrant mix of comedic gags, and you’ll get a top-tier shoujo read. Anyway, if you’re looking for a good romcom to read, then don’t miss this classic.

After School Lessons for Unripe Apples by Webtoon

            9. After School Lessons For Unripe Apples

Mi-ae is your every day teenage girl. She swoons over hunky K-pop stars, loves romance comics, and loathes preachy teachers. Yes, like many of us once upon a time.

Still, fate is about to throw a wrecking ball into her life. Her former childhood friend has returned, joining her class. The problem? Well, the lad has a very thin skin. Worse, he suffers from hilarious anger issues, and she has to watch over him.

My Rating: After School Lessons for Unripe Apples scores a solid 9/10. This tsundere webtoon offers a cute friends-to-lovers plot, an engaging cast, and a fluffy art style perfect for its theme.

The best of it all? It sidesteps tired tropes like instant love or forced marriages, delivering a gradual, believable romance. If you’re searching for a slice-of-life romance webcomic, then this is for you.

              Happily Ever Afterwards by Webtoon

              10. Happily Ever Afterwards

Peony isn’t your mere novel enthusiast. No, she is a hardcore fan of the novel The Song of Askar. But unlike her peers, she loves Richt, the ill-fated second male lead.

But out of nowhere, she transmigrates into the story. The hook? She knows her priorities. One, simp for Richt’s own happy-ever-after. Two, marry him if possible.

My Rating: I’ll rate Happily Ever Afterwards an 8/10. I really like the character dynamics in this story. How do I say this? The growth of the main couple is subtle, interesting, and fun to watch.

But what makes this tsundere manhwa stand out is its mesmerizing art. It doesn’t give off the shiny art most romance stories have. Instead, it showcases an intriguing fairy-tale vibe.
